Upcoming Coordinated Entry - Monthly Assessor Credential Training (ACT)

*formally known as the Assessor Refresh

The Monthly Assessor Credential Training is hosted virtually every month. Come prepared to participate in a Coordinated Entry Onboarding Training that will cover overview of the system, housing types, service match, documentation, and nomination process, followed by an HMIS demo on your basic assessor workflow.


  • Thursday, October 3rd- 2pm to 4pm | Register Here online

Veteran System Orientation

All new assessors are also invited to the Veteran System Orientation, hosted by King County Veterans Program. The Veteran System Orientation is intended to provide an overview of permanent housing resources for veterans in King County, HMIS workflows, the Veteran By Name List (VBNL), and meet providers from VA, SSVF, KCRHA, & King County Veterans Program. (These meetings are hosted by KCRHA- you can find more information here

 

Meetings occur on the First Tuesday of each quarter from 12:30 - 2:00pm

 January 7th, 12:30 - 2:00pm
April 1st , 12:30 - 2:00pm
 July 1st , 12:30 - 2:00pm
 October 7th, 12:30 - 2:00pm

Steps on how to become a Coordinated Entry Assessor are below:

Note - Users must first have a Clarity Account and have completed the required Clarity General, and King County HMIS Privacy & Security Trainings before being able to request assessor access. If you do not yet have access to Clarity, please have your Agency Lead requesting a user account on your behalf. 

1. Complete Required Training: 

  • Attend a required ACT Training (linked above). Users must have attended an ACT training before they will be given assessor access in the HMIS
    • Trainings are provided virtually every month
    • **If you already have assessor access, you are required to attend an ACT training once a year to maintain access.
    • Users are subject to having Assessor Access revoked if they are not in compliance. 

 

 

2. Have your agency CE Trainer Request Assessor Access on your behalf:

  • Your agency-designated CE Trainer will need to submit a new Assessor Request From
    •  If approved, Bitfocus will turn on Assessor Access and follow up with confirmation via email to both the CE Trainer, and the new CE Assessor
    • If denied, Bitfocus will send a follow-up with an explanation of why the request was denied along with the next steps
